Things to keep in mind when taking photos of your property:
- Buildings usually look better when shot from a slight angle, but it is helpful to have pictures from several different angles.
- Try to stand closer to the corner of the house that is farthest away from the garage and driveway when taking pictures.
- Take close-ups of any details that are important to you (front door, porches, plants, flags, fences, gates) or anything that is obscured in the overall view.
- Ideally, color photographs are best, but if you have old photos - a beautiful House Portrait can still be created if enough details are provided by the customer.
- Try to take photos when the sun is shining directly on the front of the house.
- Better photos help make better paintings!
